Additional Driver
Additional drivers are authorized from the age of 18 and must have held a valid driving license for at least one year, depending on the category rented.
A supplement of €13.00 including tax per day applies for a maximum of 6 days.
Additional drivers are permitted per rental, with a maximum equal to the number of seats in the vehicle.
For young drivers, an additional cost from €33 incl. tax/day applies (max 14 days).
After Hours Service
After Hours Pick Up:
This service is not offered at this location.
After Hours Return:
Enter the Enterprise parking area and park the car in a designated bay.
Ensure to not leave any personal belongings behind.
Deposit the keys and the folder in the key deposit box which located to the right hand side of the rental counter.
Age Requirements
To rent a vehicle, the renter must have held a valid driving license for:
- at least 1 year for categories Mini Manual and Automatic, Economy Manual and Automatic
- at least 3 years for categories Compact Manual and Automatic, Compact SUV Manual and Automatic, Standard Manual and Automatic, Intermediate SUV Manual and Automatic
- at least 7 years for categories Intermediate Monospace 7 Seat Manual and Automatic, Standard SUV Manual and Automatic, Fullsize Manual and Automatic, Compact Elite Manual and Automatic, Intermediate Manual and Automatic, Premium Manual and Automatic
The minimum age to rent is 18 years old. All drivers under the age of 25 will be subject to an additional daily charge.
The additional Young Driver charges are:
- 18 to 20 years of age: 55 Euros per day; max. 770 EUR (VAT included)
- 21 to 24 years of age: 33 Euros per day; max. 462 EUR (VAT included)
Cross Border Policy
It is not allowed to drive outside of Corsica.
Damage Waiver
The standard damage and theft cover (DW) is a protection product which reduces the financial responsibility of the renter up to the excess amount specified on the rental agreement.
If this protection product is not included in the reserved rate, the renter has full financial responsibility for the vehicle.
Third party liability cover is always included as standard, even when DW is no part of the reserved rate.
Depending on the car class*, an excess between 1400 EUR and 2500 EUR per incident is applicable and comprehends the following:
- Damage/Collision Cover
- Theft Waiver
If you wish to further lower your deductible in the event of damage and/or theft, other optional protection products are available for purchase at an additional cost.
*Car Class Excess Groups:
- 1400 EUR for cat. Mini and Economy
- 1800 EUR for cat. Compact and Compact SUV; Intermediate and Standard SUV; Intermediate MPV and Monospace as well as 7 -Seaters.
- 2500 EUR for cat. Compact Elite; Intermediate, Standard; Fullsize and Premium
- 1600 EUR for cat. Compact and Standard Commercial Vans (car class not available at airport locations)
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
This coverage does not cover:
- use of the incorrect fuel type
- misuse of the vehicle
- failure to return the vehicle key
- all optional accessories, tires, rims, broken glass, damage to the interior of the vehicle (cigarette burn in particular)
-failing to take all reasonable steps to take care of the vehicle keys or any other device to unlock and/or start the vehicle.
The coverage will be void if the damage was caused by:
- use by an unauthorized driver, who does not have a driving license or who is not authorized to drive the category of vehicle concerned,
- use on behalf of others,
- illegal activity
- a race, speed tests or road tests,
- driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or outside Corsica,
- an overload of the vehicle,
- use for towing another vehicle,
- the transport of hazardous materials or substances,
- use on a non-public road, reckless or negligent driving, or within the confines of an airport.
For all exclusions, the Renter will be responsible for the sum of the actual costs relating to the damage or theft of the vehicle, as well as the costs of assistance, towing, administration and immobilization costs,
In the event of an accident, the Renter has the obligation to complete and submit a report within 5 days of the accident,
In the event of theft or attempted theft, the Renter has the obligation to lodge a complaint and to turn it in alongside by the key and the vehicle document folder at one of the available rental locations.
Debit Card Policy
All major debit cards issued by Visa or Mastercard are accepted for all car categories.
One Way Drop Policy
One-way rentals between Ajaccio, Bastia and Calvi are allowed for all categories of vehicles in Corsica.
One-Way rentals with return at Figari are not available.
One-way rentals are not permitted between Corsica and mainland France. International one-way rentals are not permitted.
In the event of return to allocation in mainland France or internationally, the actual costs for the repatriation of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the renter.
Exclusive Policy
Total charges include road fund license and VAT. Damage waiver is not included and must be taken unless an alternative coverage can be verified at time of rental. Additional surcharges may apply . Additional protection products may be purchased.
Excess Protection
Excess Protection (EP) is an optional coverage available only if Damage Waiver (DW) is included in the rate. EP reduces the applicable Damage Waiver excess amount to zero for all cars and SUVs. For Small Cargo Vans the excess can be reduced to 250 EUR, for Medium and Intermediate Cargo Vans to 300 EUR and for Luton Cargo Vans with Tail Lift to 350 EUR.
If EP is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase. Before purchasing EP it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If EP is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the Damage Waiver excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. EP is not insurance.
Excess Protection Exclusions/Voids
Excess Protection does not cover: tires, lost, broken and stolen keys, key ring, trackers, any optional accessory, any damage caused by the use of wrong fuel, any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started. Excess Protection will be voided if damage is caused by: non authorized driver, person whom has no driving license or does not have the category of vehicle on their license, hire and reward, illegal activity, racing or speed tests or road tests, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, outside the countries listed on page one of the contract, overloading of the vehicle, pushing or towing another vehicle, transporting dangerous materials or substances, not using the vehicle on a public road, in an imprudent or negligent manner, or within the grounds of an airport.
Refueling Service
The renter can purchase a Fuel Service Option (at current market price) at the beginning of the rental period,
Vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank (as indicated on the rental agreement).
In case of a difference in fuel level which is less upon return than at departure, the Renter will be invoiced for this difference at the rate displayed at the branch at €3.30 incl. tax/litre,
The price is calculated according to the tank capacity of the reserved vehicles.
Excess fuel will not be refunded.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of points is not available at this location.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption of free days is not available at this location. Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits at National and Enterprise brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Personal Effects Coverage
Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) is offered for an additional daily charge. PEC provides the renter and renter's passengers with insurance cover for personal effects while they travel.
In summary, the product provides cover for theft, damage or loss of baggage, electronic and mobile devices. In addition, delayed personal baggage and loss of travel documents are also covered. This is a summary only. The purchase of PEC is optional and not required to rent a car.
The coverage provided by PEC may duplicate your existing coverage and you may wish to determine if your personal coverage is adequate.
The PEC insurance coverage cannot exceed 50 days and / or a total amount of 200 EUR charged regardless of the duration of the rental period and is conditional on your compliance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and PEC policy.

Forms of Payment
All major debit and credit cards (issued by either Visa, Mastercard or American Express) are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Prepaid cards, Maestro, Visa Electron, V Pay, cards for electronic use only and cards distributed by neobanks can only be accepted for final payment of rental charges. All deposits will need to be taken via a Visa, Mastercard or American Express debit or credit card (excluding previous list of cards) in the renter's name and first name.
A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. For the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard and People Carriers, a deposit of 250 EUR is required. For all cargo vans, the deposit is 500 EUR. For Elite, Full Size and Convertibles, the deposit is 1,000 EUR. For Premium and Luxury Cars, the deposit is 2,000 EUR and the deposit must be taken in full on one credit card. If a debit card is presented, then an additional one with the same first and last name should be presented. In this case, the deposit will be 1,000 EUR on each card. Cash and Chèques-Vacances are accepted as forms of payment but only at the end of the rental. The initial charges must be taken on a valid debit or credit card.
Roadside Protection
Roadside Assistance (RAP) is an optional product that allows customers to request our assistance free of charge without being financially responsible for assistance and towing costs for any incident or accident not covered under manufacturer warranty.
RAP does not apply in the event of a breach of the rental agreement.
Before taking out the RAP guarantee, it is advisable to check the coverage of your personal insurance for these costs.
If the renter does not take out roadside assistance protection (RAP), he will be required to pay the costs of assistance and towing according to the rate indicated in the agency. RAP is not insurance.
Roadside Protection Exclusions/Voids
Roadside Assistance (RAP) does not cover:
- use of the wrong fuel type
- failure to take all reasonable steps to take care of the vehicle keys or any other device to unlock and/or start the vehicle.
- key: lost, broken, oxidized, stolen
- punctures and/or damage to tyres.
Roadside assistance will be canceled if the damage was caused by:
- use by an unauthorized driver, who does not have a driving license or who is not authorized to drive the category of vehicle concerned,
- use on behalf of others,
- illegal activity, racing, speed tests or road tests,
- driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or outside Corsica,
- an overload of the vehicle,
- use when towing another vehicle or on a non-public road,
- the transport of hazardous materials or substances,
- driving recklessly or negligently, or on the premises of an airport.
LTNT - Deposit Policy
The deposit amount equals the applicable excess amount:
- 950 EUR for cat. Mini and Economy Manuals;
- 1400 EUR for cat. Economy Auto, Compact Manual, Compact SUV Manual;
- 1600 EUR for cat. Compact Aut., Compact SUV Aut., Intermediate - MPV Manual, Standard SUV Manual;
- 1800 EUR for cat. Intermediate SUV Aut., Standard SUV Aut., Intermediate Monospace Manual and Aut. as well as 7-Seaters;
- 2500 EUR for cat. Compact Elite Manual or Aut., Intermediate Man. or Aut., Standard and Fullsize Man. or aut.;
- 1600 EUR for cat. Compact and Standard Commercial Van
LTNT - VRI
Not all Debit cards are accepted. Contact the rental location if you have any questions. Renters who wish to rent a Premium car should present a second card. A deposit of 1000€ will be taken on each.
LOB Deposit Policy
You may need a valid credit or debit card in your name when you start your rental. If a credit or debit card is required to proceed with check-in, please enter it now. Please note that not all types of debit cards are accepted. Contact the rental location if you have any questions. If it is optional, you can choose to add your credit or debit card now or provide it in person when you start your rental. Payment will not be processed until you arrive to pick up your rental. The amount taken will be dependent on factors including but not limited to estimated amounts owed under the Rental Contract, the purchase of optional protection products, size of vehicle or fuel purchase or other separately negotiated terms with a third party to pay for all or part of the rental bill. You will remain responsible for all charges not paid by a third party, such as vehicle upgrades, optional products or extra rental days beyond those specified by the third party. If you have any questions, please contact the rental location ahead of your arrival.
Renter Requirements
All drivers must present a fully valid and unexpired driving license (digital licenses are not accepted). If the driving license is written in a language and characters different from those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
All renters must provide a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must have held their full license for a minimum of 1 year. All local renters must provide proof of home address in France with a utility or phone bill. Customers picking up at Charles de Gaulle Airport must provide a flight itinerary or boarding pass showing arrival and departure. Local train tickets from Paris cannot be accepted.
Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks if needed which may include an identity check with an external organization.
Arrival Directions
The rental branch is located inside the airport on the arrivals level, opposite the luggage belt.
Supplemental Liability Protection
Corse Auto Rent - Franchisee operator at our Corsica North locations - Ajaccio, Bastia and Calvi Airports - Third Party Liability coverage which is included in all rentals provides unlimited cover for bodily injury and or death to third parties and up to 100,000,000.00 EUR for third party property damage.
